Mopidy extension for in-car RPi and GPIO. Utilizes the MCP3008 ADC chip for analog input.

Installation

This extension requires Mopidy to be run as root in order to access /dev/mem.

Install by running:

pip install Mopidy-CarPi

Configuration

Before starting Mopidy, you must add configuration for Mopidy-CarPi to your Mopidy configuration file:

adc_chan_vol = 0     # Volume potentiometer channel on ADC.
deadzone_vol_lo = 0  # Volume potentiometer lower deadzone.
deadzone_vol_hi = 4  # Volume potentiometer upper deadzone.
gpio_spiclk = 18     # Serial clock pin on GPIO (CLK on ADC).
gpio_spics = 25      # Chip select pin on GPIO (CS on ADC).
gpio_spimiso = 23    # MISO pin on GPIO (DOUT on ADC).
gpio_spimosi = 24    # MOSI pin on GPIO (DIN on ADC).
