Protein prediction package
Environmental installation
R
R language version requires version 4.1.1 Two packages need to be installed simultaneously:
install.packages("devtools")
library(devtools)
install_version("DT", version="0.19",repos="http://cran.us.r-project.org")
install_version("protr", version="1.6.2",repos="http://cran.us.r-project.org")
Set SimultaneouslyR_HOME
to environment variable
Java
Java version requires 1.8
or higher
Python
Python version requires3.6
or higher
How to use
If there is a protein sequence
_name = ""
_seq = """>sp|P30177|YBIB_ECOLI Uncharacterized protein YbiB OS=Escherichia coli (strain K12) OX=83333 GN=ybiB PE=1 SV=1

p = ProTstab2()
r = p.predict(_name, _seq)
print(r)
# 55.00748285501498
If there is no protein sequence, the following methods can be used
_name = ">P30177"
_seq = ""
p = ProTstab2()
r = p.predict(_name, _seq)
print(r)
# 55.00748285501498
The first method is recommended here for the following reasons:
- Due to the use of crawlers, it is not guaranteed that data can be obtained every time, and the program may crash
- You can obtain specific protein sequence values
