Saffron is a small application framework designed for Python. Out of the box it supports multiple users, multiple data files, easily adding commands to the prompt and aliasing them, and a great database interface. The database interface makes a SQLite3 database, and creates an object called a Pointer, that interfaces a specific spot in a SQLite3 database. These Pointers are portable and pickle-able, and are also descriptors!
