alacrity
Quickstart your Python project with a single handy command.
pip install alacrity
To use alacrity, just type in a terminal:
alacrity
Answer some questions interactively, and poof, your package structure is ready.
Based on the sample Python package structure by Kenneth Reitz.
A sample alacrity flow:
Z:\> alacrity
Enter the name of the package:
my_package
Enter the initial version:
0.1.0
Enter a brief description:
My new Python package!
Enter author name:
John Doe
Enter author email:

Choose a license: [mit/apache/gpl]
mit
Enter year for license:
