Plot data on map projections with matplotlib
Project description
This is a PyPi fork of basemap1.2.0. Before installing: (1) Make sure the data folder has been downloaded (Note you maybe able to use the same data folder from basemap1.0.7), (2) Make sure you have downloaded the geos library and defined the GEOS_DIR variable. (example, export GEOS_DIR=/usr/local) See http://matplotlib.org/basemap/users/examples.html for examples of what it can do.
