Truncate text in to the width of his container with the JQuery plugin smart Truncation
How to use collective.js.jqsmartTruncation
1.) Install the collective.js.jqsmartTruncation product with the portal_setup tool.
2.) use jq(‘span.title a’).smartTruncation(); in your own package to truncate the text in the element
