A small library for automatically adjusting text position in matplotlib plots to minimize overlaps (forked and modified from Phlya’s adjustText).

Installation

The easiest way to install crowdedText us to use pip:

bash pip install crowdedText

Or you can clone this repo and install from a local version of the code:

bash git clone [e-mail]:thespacedoctor/crowdedText.git cd crowdedText python setup.py install

Development

If you want to tinker with the code, then install in development mode. This means you can modify the code from your cloned repo:

bash git clone [e-mail]:thespacedoctor/crowdedText.git cd crowdedText python setup.py develop
