CANopen library providing functionality to implement nodes

CANopen library to implement (local) nodes.

Hmmm…, but wait! There is already a CANopen library out there: python-canopen. Why starting a new library? python-canopen is the library to choose, if you want to control remote nodes. It’s possible to implement local nodes with python-canopen, but (IMHO) it’s not the main target. Durand has a focus on this part.

  • Tested on Python 3.7. 3.8 and 3.9

  • Unit tested with pytest, coding style checked with Flake8, static type checked with mypy, static code checked with Pylint, documented with Sphinx

  • Supporting CiA301 (EN 50325-4)
