Project description

Watchlist API for Digital Portals client library for Python

PyPi Apache-2 license

Watchlists keeps track of users' individual investment objectives. They are meant to support the self-directed business of wealth management firms.

The Watchlist API for Digital Portals is fully integrated with the corresponding Quotes API, allowing access to detailed price and performance information of instruments in a watchlist. This also supports basic security identifier cross-reference. To complement the Watchlist API with direct access to price histories, please refer to the Time Series API for Digital Portals.

This Python package is automatically generated by the OpenAPI Generator project:

  • API version: 2
  • Package version: 0.9.5
  • Build package: org.openapitools.codegen.languages.PythonClientCodegen

Notes for Large OpenAPI documents

If the OpenAPI document is large, imports in fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.apis and fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.models may fail with a RecursionError indicating the maximum recursion limit has been exceeded. In that case, there are a couple of solutions:

Solution 1: Use specific imports for apis and models like:

  • from fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.api.default_api import DefaultApi
  • from fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.model.pet import Pet

Solution 2: Before importing the package, adjust the maximum recursion limit as shown below:

import sys
sys.setrecursionlimit(1500)
import fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals
from fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.apis import *
from fds.sdk.WatchlistAPIforDigitalPortals.models import *
