A python package and command-line tools to Parse GCN Notices and Circulars into a MySQL Database.

Installation

The easiest way to install gcnParser is to use pip:

bash pip install gcnParser

Or you can clone this repo and install from a local version of the code:

bash git clone [e-mail]:thespacedoctor/gcnParser.git cd gcnParser python setup.py install

Development

If you want to tinker with the code, then install in development mode. This means you can modify the code from your cloned repo:

bash git clone [e-mail]:thespacedoctor/gcnParser.git cd gcnParser python setup.py develop
