Simple way to get functions or events hash or sign a message.

getHashData

This tool includes the following features:

• Calculate the function selector

• Calculate the event hash

• Sign the message with the private key

Install

pip install getHashData

Usage

getHash [-h] [-s STRING] [-i INPUTFILE] [-o OUTPUTFILE] [-w] [-f] [-k PRIVATEKEY] [-d DATA] [--hex HEXDATA] [--sign]

For example:

getHash -f -s "deposit(uint256 amount)"

or

getHash -s "event Transfer(address indexed from, address indexed to, uint value);"

or

getHash -i WETH.sol -w

or

getHash --sign -k 503f38a9c967ed597e47fe25643985f032b072db8075426a92110f82df48dfcb -d test

Parameter description:

optional arguments:
  -h, --help     show this help message and exit
  -s STRING      Choose a string as input.
  -i INPUTFILE   Input file path and name.
  -o OUTPUTFILE  Output file path and name. Default is None.
  -w             Use web3. Default is using sha3.
  -f             Use funtion.
  -k PRIVATEKEY  Provide a key to sign message.
  -d DATA        Message to sign.
  --hex HEXDATA  Hex message to sign.
  --sign         Sign a message.
