GNIP for Python provides an easy way to access the PowerTrack stream provided by GNIP.

from gnippy import PowerTrackClient
# Define a callback

auth = ('MyUserName', 'MyPassword')
client = PowerTrackClient(url, auth, callback)
client.connect()
