HLO
The presented project is currently undergoing significant development and construction efforts.
This initiative revolves around establishing seamless communication with a diverse array of APIs, including prominent platforms such as Slack, JIRA, and Jenkins. It doesn't stop there – the project extends its reach to encompass major public cloud providers such as GCP, OCI, AWS, and Azure. The primary goal is to simplify the intricacies of life by streamlining credential and configuration management. Imagine a single interface serving as the gateway to all these APIs.
About The Project
GOAT ("goat") - a front-end application for Python modules to communicate with most Public Cloud Platforms (GCP, OCI, AWS, & Azure). Source code of this app can also be used as an example of how to write code using our internal modules and how to integrate multiple modules together in a single app/package.
cache data
- The cache is used to store credentials and configuration data per module.
- The .cfg files are encrypted with Fernet and only GOAT can access the keys.
- to recreate your cache, you can remove the configs and keys from this directory:
~/goat - files will look like those listed below.
- if these files are removed, you will need to reauthenticate/setup each module.

Getting Started
Prerequisites
Installation
Manual Installation
- Create a virtual environment. We will call it
prod:python3 -m venv ~/prod
- Activate virtual environment:
cd ~/prod && source bin/activate
- Clone the repo:
git clone git@github.com:stacksc/goat.git
- Install all required packages with 1 script from the main repository:
cd ~/prod/goat && ./bulk.sh --action rebuild --target all
- Install oci-cli using the latest version:
a. Macbrew install oci-cli
b. Linuxbash -c "$(curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/oracle/oci-cli/master/scripts/install/install.sh)"
