Python Logger plugin to send logs to Logan

Project Description

This is a plugin library to enable logging to Logan from the standard Python Logger. This library is heavily inspired from LogEntries’ Python Logger.

Setup

To use this library, you must first create an account on Logan. This will only take a few moments.

Install

To install this library, use the following command:

pip install logan

Usage

#!/usr/bin/env python

from logan import LoganHandler
import logging

log = logging.getLogger('logan')
log.setLevel(logging.INFO)
handler = LoganHandler(LOGAN_API_TOKEN)

log.addHandler(handler)

log.warn("Warning message")
log.info("Info message")

sleep(10)
