kml2geojson 0.1

A Python 3.4 tool kit for converting KML files to GeoJSON files

A Python 3.4 program to convert a KML file into

• one or several GeoJSON files and

• one JSON file containing the KML styles

Much of the code is a translation in Python of the Node.js package togeojson.

Status

This is a first draft, so it is unstable. It also needs more testing.

Installation

pip install -r requirements/production.txt

Usage

From the command line type the following for instructions:

kml2geojson --help

Versioning

This project uses semantic versioning (major.minor.path), where each breaking feature or API change is considered a major release.
