Usage

Usage:

cat /path/to/file | ./logtime.py <grouping> <timepattern> <timespec>

Example:

Apache logs grouped by hour

cat /var/log/apache2/access.log | ./logtime.py H ‘[(.+?) ‘ ‘%d/%b/%Y:%H:%M:%S’

Grouping spec:

H - hour M - Minute S - Second y - year m - month d - day

Timespecs:
