Converts from combinational netlists to the BENCH format for DFT

Verilog Netlist to Bench Converter

This projects converts a subset of the Verilog language commonly used for Netlists to the Bench format popular with DFT utilities.

The following assumptions are made about the netlist:

  • It is a flat netlist - one module in the one file has everything, with no parameters.
  • It is combinational- registers have been cut away and made into inputs
    • Same goes for macros.
  • The ports are declared first in the header, bare, then ranges and polarities are defined out-of-line.
  • There is no tri-state logic in the netlist.

It takes a netlist in combination with lib files. The latter are used to determine cells' functions.
