Agile Object Oriented Data Technology provides metadata-based middleware for discovery and correlation of data and information. Agile OODT is middleware for metadata, providing transparent access to distributed resources, data discovery and query optimization, and distributed processing and virtual archives. It’s a software architecture that models for information representation, solves knowledge capture problems, and unifies technology, data, and metadata.
