pydown 1.1

A simple command line downloader written in Python

pydown is a Python based downloader with compression support. It currently includes an easy to use command line interface, but we have plans for command line switches and functions to add downloading to your own code. Install it by downloading the tarball, unzipping it, and then running “python setup.py install” on the directory. It can then be run with “python -m pydown”.

• The main script has been completely rewritten, it now collects all of the info it needs and THEN works on the download
