The Stinder project aims to help students find compatible study partners through their major and coursework for optimal study sessions.

Project description

Do you hate having to group up with students you don't know? Have you ever been stuck doing all the work?

Us too.

Stinder aims to solve those problems for those who would like to pair up with those with similar work ethic and motivations. Fill out your student information for your profile and browse through your class population for those with similar qualities to work as effectively as possible in a group setting! Filter students by major, coursework, schedule and more to find your perfect match!

Stinder. Never have a bad (study) date again.

To use Stinder, run these commands in your terminal with Python3 installed*:

pip install stinder
Stinder

*There is currently a bug running Stinder on Windows concering OpenGL. If you receive this error when you try to run the app:

ImportError: libOpenGL.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

you must enter and run this in your terminal:

sudo apt install libopengl0 -y
