read and plot Transcar 1-D particle precipitation ionospheric model.

Project Description


Reads the output of the TRANSCAR 1-D particle penetration ionosphere model.


Python >= 3.6 required:

python -m pip install -e .


  • Generate simulated auroral emissions based on Transcar excitation rates.
  • Generate simulated Incoherent Scatter Radar plasma paremters based on Transcar sim.
  • plots excitation rates output by Transcar sim.
  • plots interpolated transcar inputs (MSIS90).
