A pythonic wrapper for wxPython 2.5.x
Project description
Wax is a GUI toolkit that sits atop wxPython (wxWindows for Python). wxWindows is a mature cross-platform GUI toolkit. The main advantage of wxWindows is that it uses native GUI elements on the platform that it runs on, so it’s quite fast. It also runs on many platforms (Win32, Linux w/ GTK, and MacOS/OSX w/ Carbon).
wxPython isn’t very pythonic though – it seems more like a direct binding to the wxWindows C API. Wax fixes that!
This package is quite usable, but it’s still in the early stages, which means that some wxWindows widgets aren’t available.
