Project description
This is a download package for Emily version 0.9, a freeware WYSIWYG editor which uses a subset of HTML5 called MLE as its storage format.
You will need Python version 3.8 or later installed on your machine to run this app. You will also need the PyQt6 cross platform application toolkit - to install this, use the command line to say
pip install PyQt6
You will then need to download TWO packages: GUIbits version 1.0 and Emily version 0.9. On the command line, say:
pip install guibits1_0
and then
pip install emily0_9
To run Emily, use the
emily filename
command, or hit the Emily icon on the desktop, or double-click on any .mle file.
