This package is deprecated. Please use
arcade-mcpinstead.
Migration
Pick the section that matches how you installed arcade-ai:

uv tool uninstall arcade-ai
uv tool install arcade-mcp
uv (project dependency)
uv remove arcade-ai
uv add arcade-mcp
The arcade CLI command and all functionality remain exactly the same — only the PyPI package name changed.
Why was it renamed?
The package was renamed from arcade-ai to arcade-mcp to better reflect its purpose as the CLI and tooling layer for the Arcade MCP platform.
What does this version do?
This release (2.3.0) is a tombstone — it has no real code. It installs arcade-mcp as a dependency so your environment continues to work, but you should migrate as soon as possible.
The arcade-ai package will not receive any further feature updates or bug fixes.
