autocodeCLI is an AI-powered terminal assistant that acts as your personal Senior Python Developer. It plans, writes, reviews, and refactors Python code directly inside your current working directory.
Powered by NVIDIA AI endpoints, it handles the entire software development lifecycle—from breaking down your natural language request into logical steps to delivering production-ready, peer-reviewed code.

- Context-Aware Workspace: Runs directly in your current directory. It writes and edits files exactly where you open it.
- Intelligent Planning: Breaks complex tasks down into logical implementation steps before writing code.
- Automated Code Review: Utilizes an internal sub-agent to review the written code for syntax errors, logical bugs, and edge cases, automatically fixing issues before final delivery.
- Secure API Key Management: Safely stores your NVIDIA API key in a global, isolated configuration file (
~/.autocode_env).
🚀 Installation
Because autocodeCLI is a global terminal tool, it is highly recommended to install it using a tool manager like uv or pipx. This keeps its dependencies safely isolated from your system's global Python environment.
Using uv (Recommended):
uv tool install autocodeCLI
