compilers.common

Shared, language-agnostic support code for the compilers namespace, factored out so that any compilers.<lang> distribution (e.g. compilers.C) can build on a common foundation.

Includes:

  • compilers.common.logging — logger helpers for compiler output
  • compilers.common._util — small text/argument utilities
  • compilers.common._modified — file-timestamp ("newer") helpers
  • compilers.common.platform — platform detection and macOS compiler support
