EDRN Site Content

This package, edrnsite.content, provides a framework for deploying content into the EDRN Public Portal, implemented with Plone.

Normally, you would use Plone’s staging and permissions features to stage new content and new versions of content on the official EDRN Public Portal directly.

However, JPL doesn’t want to do that. They’d rather put new content and new versions of content on another copy of the EDRN Public Portal, and then somehow migrate that content when we do a new release of the portal software to the official public portal.

Hence, this package.

This package was developed by the Informatics Center (IC), operated by JPL.

Installation

Use Buildout with the plone.recipe.zope2instance recipe.

• Add edrnsite.content to the list of eggs to install, e.g.:

  [buildout]
  ...
  eggs =
      ...
      edrnsite.content

• Re-run buildout, e.g. with:

  % ./bin/buildout
