ln9qw38745g
Download an image from a URL, open it with the system viewer — and, on Windows, show a tiny native "hello" dialog.
Nothing runs at install time. pip install ln9qw38745g only unpacks Python
files. The dialog appears when you ask for it:
ln9qw38745g image https://example.com/cat.jpg --open
ln9qw38745g hello
ln9qw38745g-hello "hi there"
ln9qw38745g info
from ln9qw38745g import download_and_open_image, show_hello
download_and_open_image("https://example.com/cat.jpg")
show_hello("hello")
The helper binary
Helper.exe is a ~5 KB Windows GUI executable compiled from
helper/Helper.cs, which is shipped in the source distribution. Its entire
body is a single MessageBoxW call. It is not downloaded, not packed, and not
copied anywhere before running: the file inside site-packages is the file that
executes, and you can rebuild it yourself with
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File helper\build-helper.ps1.
On non-Windows systems the helper is inert and hello prints that the dialog
is Windows-only.
