memly

Memly is a membrane analysis tool for molecular dynamics simulations of lipid bilayers. Memly features frame-by-frame leaflet identification designed to capture lipid flip-flop. Analysis functions are implemented in an easily extensible way, making it simple to add or customize simulation analysis.

The following analysis metrics are currently available in memly:

  • Surface area per lipid
  • Area compressibility modulus
  • Second-rank nematic order parameters
  • Bilayer thickness
  • Domain detection
