if you have a file named ex. “/home/user/file#*?.name”, use this package, you can get a new filename in string type “/home/user/file\#\*\?.name”

example:

>>> from nameForBash import nameForBash
>>>
>>> filename = nameForBash('/home/user/file#*?.log')
>>> print filename.fileName
/home/user/file#*?.log
>>> print filename.bashName
/home/user/file\#\*\?.log
