Product Contract Line Defer
Extend the defer-functionality of a contract line to the Sale Order Line and Products. Products can be set to be deferred by default.

Use Cases / Context
BUSINESS NEED:
Your company sells contracts which start dates are not known at the conclusion of the sale.
Lines which start dates are not confirmed should not be invoiced
APPROACH:
This module is a bridge between contract_line_defer and product_contract
It extends the ‘defer’-functionality to the sale order line
USEFUL INFORMATION:
Use the bridge module contract_line_defer_successor when also using the module contract_line_successor
Configuration
Optional configuration:
Go to Sales > Products > Products
On a Contract Product, go to tab Contract > Start Method > Defer Start by Default

On a Contract Product, go to tab Contract > Start Method > Defer Start by Default
Add a contract product to a Sale Order
When adding a product, choose to defer its start date.
