The module TMS - Account Asset manages the creation of assets for vehicles. This module provides the feature of creating vehicle assets to manage their depreciation.

Installation
There are two ways of installing the module:
Transport settings
Go to Transport app.
Go to Configuration > Settings.
In the Vehicles block, enable the “Manage depreciations” setting.
Apps list
Go to Apps.
Search for TMS - Account Asset module.
Install the module.
Configuration
The following configuration is needed to create the assets for new vehicles:
Asset Profiles
Go to Invoicing/Accounting module.
Go to Configuration > Asset Profiles.
Create or select an asset profile.
Configure the asset profile and select the box “Is a TMS vehicle”.
Vehicle Categories
Go to Transport module.
Go to Configuration > Categories.
Select or create a new category.
Add the asset profile created.
Vehicle Models
Go to Transport module.
Go to Configuration > Models.
Select or create a new model.
Add the category to the model with that has the asset profile.
Usage
Creation of vehicles assets
After configurating the asset profiles, categories and models, creating a new vehicle record creates a new asset.
