japanese-text-join
HTMLの文章中に現れる改行文字は、多くの場合スペースとして表示されます。日本語は 通常わかち書きをしないので、この仕様はイマイチです。これに対処するために文章を 書くときはハードラップしないほうがよいということになります。
自分は文章を書くときに80文字でラップしたほうが読みやすいと思っているので、そこ でよしなにエディタがラップしてくれれば良いのですが、残念ながらVimは桁数指定の ラップはハードラップしかできません。
そこで、文章を書くときはハードラップされた文章を書き、それをHTMLに変換する過程 でそのハードラップされた改行文字を削ることにしました。これを行うdocutilsの Transformerです。
