Dados Abertos Brasil é uma iniciativa para facilitar o acesso a dados abertos e APIs do governo brasileiro.
É um pacote open-source para Python e Pandas e a forma mais simples de acessar dados de instituições como IGBE, IPEA, Banco Central, etc.
Atualmente o pacote Dados Abertos Brasil possui seis módulos, além da classe UF que consolida dados diversos de Unidades Federativas em um único objeto.

Sobre
Instalação
pip install DadosAbertosBrasil
Para obter os resultados como DataFrames do Polars, instale o extra opcional:
pip install DadosAbertosBrasil[polars]
Aviso: atualmente o Pandas é uma dependência obrigatória e o formato padrão dos resultados. Em uma versão futura, o Pandas deixará de ser obrigatório e passará a ser instalado apenas como extra opcional. Para não depender do formato padrão, defina
DadosAbertosBrasil.config.formatoou use o argumentoformatonas funções.
