MATE-contract

The contract of MATE, the Modular Algorithmic Toolkit for Evolution: the exchange types and interfaces that method and system modules implement. It depends on NumPy and on randomgen, which provides Philox4x32-10, the random generator GPUs use, on the CPU.

It holds the domains and keys, the organ specs and organs, the exchange types, the declarations, the Context, and the System and Method interfaces. The documentation of MATE has a module-author guide and the API reference.

Installation

Requires Python 3.14 or later.

Module authors declare it as a dependency, bounded by its major version (MATE-contract>=1.0,<2). Users install the runtime, which brings it along:

pip install MATE-runtime
