MVA algorithm for tree crown approximation from LiDAR data
Project description
This project (Modified Voxelization Algorithm) is designed to compensate for the increase in occlusion that occurs with decreasing voxel size when using simple voxelization to approximate a tree crown to its dense point cloud. Eliminating this drawback should make voxelization a more prominent feature in this forest inventory task.
