Clay Sized Minerals
Clay sized minerals identification is most important in hydrocarbon prospecting and production. Clay sized minerals may decrease the porosity of reservoir but if these minerals are not handled carefully, it will decrease permeability and cause formation damage.
Following are the clay sized minerals can be identified through this package:
- Illite
- Smectite
- Mica
- Clay
- Feldspar
- Glauconite
- Chlorite
- Kaolinite
Requirements and Installations
This code has been developed in python 3.9.0 and it is compatible with the python version over 3.5.0
The code can be run directly from the cloned repository or it can be installed as a package through pip:
