Overview
A2K is the reference Python distribution for the transport-agnostic
Agent-to-Knowledge protocol suite. It provides Pydantic wire models, vendored
JSON Schemas, and typed Protocol interfaces while remaining independent of
databases, identity providers, cloud platforms, and web frameworks.
Key features
- Shared KB Card, delegated identity, governance, and security-tier models.
- Knowledge Resolution Protocol models and interfaces for discovery and catalog operations.
- Knowledge Consumption Protocol models and interfaces for search, ask, explain, and document retrieval.
- Offline JSON Schema validation and PEP 561 type information.
- Structural interfaces that applications can implement without inheriting framework classes.
