abhijanfastapi

Scaffolding CLI for Abhijan FastAPI projects.

Provides the abhijan command with three subcommands:

abhijan init — creates main.py, config.py, database.py, requirements.txt
abhijan alembic — creates alembic/env.py with the async migration config
abhijan storage — adds storage.py and patches config.py with upload settings

Install

pip install abhijanfastapi

Usage

# scaffold a new project in the current directory
abhijan init

# scaffold into a specific directory
abhijan init -d ./my-app

# add upload support (writes storage.py + config.py settings)
abhijan storage

# (re)create alembic/env.py
abhijan alembic

# overwrite existing files without prompting
abhijan init -f

After scaffolding, run your app with:

uvicorn main:app --reload

And run migrations with:

alembic revision --autogenerate -m "initial"
alembic upgrade head

Contributing

See CONTRIBUTING.md. New features go on a feature branch, opened as a pull request against master — never commit directly to master.
