Project description

Actant

actant-motion is the reserved distribution name for Actant — a real-time motion-control platform for AI-driven (agentic) development. A human specifies high-level intent; AI agents realize the control design, integrate hardware, and run calibration on real machines, under explicit human consent.

The platform is in active private development (2026). This 0.0.x release reserves the distribution name ahead of the first public release; it contains no functional code yet.

Actant — Latin agere, "to act", with the agent-forming -nt ending: that which acts.
