advexp-settings-cloud-trial
This project is a defensive name reservation published by Advexp. It contains no code.
The real advexp-settings-cloud-trial package — the free trial edition of the
Advexp.Settings Cloud plugin — has not been released yet. When it ships, it
will be published on PyPI under this name and will supersede this placeholder.
Why this placeholder exists
A PyPI name belongs to whoever uploads the first distribution under it, and
PyPI rarely frees claimed names. Reserving advexp-settings-cloud-trial
before the first real release protects it from being taken by a third party.
The placeholder is pinned to version 0.0.1; the real trial releases will
always outrank it in version resolution.
License
PolyForm Free Trial License 1.0.0 — the full text ships in the LICENSE file of the distribution; canonical text: https://polyformproject.org/licenses/free-trial/1.0.0. In short:
- the software may be used only to evaluate whether it suits a particular application, for less than 32 consecutive calendar days, on behalf of you or your company;
- production use and redistribution of copies are not permitted;
- the software comes as is, without warranty.
This summary is for convenience only and does not replace the LICENSE file, which is the actual license. The real trial package will carry the same license.
I installed this package by mistake
Importing it raises ImportError on purpose — the real trial package has not
been released yet. Follow the news at https://advexp.github.io/advexp.settings/.
