aelix-coding-agent
The Aelix coding agent: the
ExtensionAPI surface, the extension loader, built-in policy/guardrail
extensions, built-in tools, the interactive TUI, and the real aelix CLI.
Pi-coding-agent parity.
This package ships the aelix command. For the full runtime, install the
umbrella package:
pip install aelix
Optional extras:
pip install 'aelix-coding-agent[tui]' # interactive terminal shell
Below
0.1.0b2those commands install a placeholder, not Aelix. The PyPI names were reserved by a metadata-only0.0.0a0pre-release, and with nothing but pre-releases on the index pip takes the newest — so it reported success and left you with noaelixcommand. From0.1.0b2on a pre-release tag publishes the real distribution (ADR-0240) and the command above resolves it. The checksum-verified installer described in the project README is still the recommended path: it is the only one that verifies the wheels it installs.
