AnimeKAI anime downloader for Termux — CLI only, no GUI, pure terminal.
Search, select episodes, and download or stream anime from AnimeKAI directly in your terminal.
Installation
pip install animekai-dl-tmux
Termux dependencies:
pkg install ffmpeg fzf
Usage
# Interactive search and download
animekai "one piece"
# Select type (sub/dub/softsub) upfront
animekai "naruto" --type sub
# Download episodes 1–10
animekai "naruto" --episodes 1-10
# Pick specific episodes with comma notation
animekai "bleach" --episodes 1,5,10
# Best quality, sub, fully automatic
animekai "attack on titan" --type sub --quality 1080p --no-interactive
# Stream in mpv instead of downloading
animekai "naruto" --play
# Custom download directory
animekai "one piece" --output ~/Videos/Anime

How It Works
- Searches AnimeKAI via the search API
- Fetches episode list from the watch page
- Resolves streaming servers via the links API
- Decrypts stream source via enc-dec.app
- Downloads HLS stream via ffmpeg
