Overview

Ansys SCADE Git Extensions is a collection of utilities for Git in a SCADE environment.

Merge tools can be used with any version control system.

Requirements

The ansys-scade-git package supports only the versions of Python delivered with Ansys SCADE, starting from 2021 R2:

• 2021 R2 through 2023 R1: Python 3.7

• 2023 R2 and later: Python 3.10

Ansys SCADE Git Extensions has two installation modes: user and developer. To install for use, see Getting started. To install for development, see Contribute.

Documentation and issues

Documentation for the latest stable release of Ansys SCADE Git Extensions is hosted at Ansys SCADE Git Extensions documentation.

In the upper right corner of the documentation’s title bar, there is an option for switching from viewing the documentation for the latest stable release to viewing the documentation for the development version or previously released versions.

On the Ansys SCADE Git Extensions Issues page, you can create issues to report bugs and request new features. On the Discussions page on the Ansys Developer portal, you can post questions, share ideas, and get community feedback.
