Python library for extending the Ansys SCADE IDE GUI.

Overview

Ansys SCADE GUI Tools is a Python library for facilitating the development of Ansys SCADE IDE graphical extensions:

• Building of forms: dialog boxes, settings pages or property pages

• Management of the persistence of edited data

It embeds a SCADE Custom Extension, GuiHost, to group several property pages together.

Requirements

The ansys-scade-guitools package supports only the versions of Python delivered with Ansys SCADE, starting from 2021 R2:

• 2021 R2 through 2023 R1: Python 3.7

• 2023 R2 and later: Python 3.10

Ansys SCADE GUI Tools has two installation modes: user and developer. To install for use, see Getting started. To install for development, see Contribute.

In the upper right corner of the documentation’s title bar, there is an option for switching from viewing the documentation for the latest stable release to viewing the documentation for the development version or previously released versions.
