Airports Lookup API

Airports is a simple tool for getting airport data. It returns the airport name, location, and more.

This is a Python API Wrapper for the Airports Lookup API


Installation

Using pip:

pip install apiverve-airportslookup

Using pip3:

pip3 install apiverve-airportslookup

Configuration

Before using the airports API client, you have to setup your account and obtain your API Key. You can get it by signing up at https://apiverve.com


Quick Start

Here's a simple example to get you started quickly:

from apiverve_airportslookup.apiClient import AirportsAPIClient

# Initialize the client with your APIVerve API key
api = AirportsAPIClient("[YOUR_API_KEY]")

query = { "iata": "MCI" }

try:
    # Make the API call
    result = api.execute(query)

Setup

# Import the client module
from apiverve_airportslookup.apiClient import AirportsAPIClient

Perform Request

Using the API client, you can perform requests to the API.

Define Query

Error Handling

The API client provides comprehensive error handling through the AirportsAPIClientError exception. Here are some examples:

The client supports the context manager protocol for automatic resource cleanup:

Debug Mode
