Args UI
Library for turning dataclasses into argparser args and gui. Inspired by datargs and mininterface.
Features
- Ignore normal fields, only parse
arg_fields - Allow "append" action.
- Allow nested data classes
- Provides some useful utilities
Utilities
config_argsallows reading arguments from a toml file.interactive_argsallows displaying the arguments as a GUI.bulk_argsallows wrapping a single file CLI into a recursive multi file CLI.- All of these can easily be composed, and the arguments (fields of the dataclass) filled in progressively, or overridden, at each stage.
Dependencies
For basic operations argsUI depends only on built in dataclasses and argparser. This provides the tools to use argparser for calling the code.
This code also allows building a simple automatic GUI that presents to options. For this the optional dependency group [gui] can be used. It installes pyside6.
