Astrocytes (Python)
This directory is the Python implementation of the Astrocytes service: memory, governance, and provider SPIs as defined in the shared specification.

astrocyte(PyPI), when released. - Parallel implementation:
astrocyte-rs(Rust), same framework contract. - Design docs:
docs/, includingimplementation-language-strategy.md.
The repository root holds specification and code together; this tree is the Python service, not a separate repository.
