What AutoClaw explored

AutoClaw explored controller-owned orchestration, explicit delegation, recoverable execution, human waits, command runs, and auditable agent work. Those experiments informed Banksia's design.

Banksia is a clean successor, not a drop-in AutoClaw release. AutoClaw configuration, definitions, runtime state, APIs, and CLI commands are not guaranteed to migrate directly.

Archive status

• AutoClaw receives no new features, fixes, compatibility work, or security updates.
• Its source and historical documentation remain available for reference.
• Existing releases remain available for reproducible installations.
• Use Banksia for new projects and active development.

Historical documentation

The documentation tree describes the final experimental system. It is retained for historical and research use and does not describe a maintained product.
