Reusable Playwright auto-heal engine for Python BDD frameworks

Project description

Introduction

TODO: Give a short introduction of your project. Let this section explain the objectives or the motivation behind this project.

Getting Started

TODO: Guide users through getting your code up and running on their own system. In this section you can talk about:

  1. Installation process
  2. Software dependencies
  3. Latest releases
  4. API references

Build and Test

TODO: Describe and show how to build your code and run the tests.

Auto-Healing Engine

This repository includes AutoHeal, the autoheal package (published to PyPI as autoheal): async and sync healers that recover from selector failures using registry fallbacks, fuzzy text matching, and DOM heuristics. Use AutoHealAsync(page, config=HealerConfig.from_env()) (async Playwright) or AutoHeal(page) (sync) and call locate(...). Audit logs and screenshots go under reports/heal_audit/ when non-primary selectors are used. See docs/AUTO_HEAL_EXPORT_GUIDE.md for building the wheel, pip install, and autoheal-init, and pages/login_page_example.py for a sync example.

Contribute

TODO: Explain how other users and developers can contribute to make your code better.
